Facial

A facial cleanses, exfoliates and nourishes your skin. The result is a clear, well-hydrated complexion that will give you a more youthful, healthy look. Facials are one of the best ways to care for your skin, especially when provided by an experienced, knowledgeable aesthetician. The facial process incorporates a deep analysis of your skin, the tissue carefully observed under a brightly lit magnifying lamp. In this way, your aesthetician is able to determine your basic skin type (dry, oily, combination, sensitive or normal) and locate more complex skin conditions (acne, blackheads, whiteheads, aging, sun-damage, dehydration, etc.). After thorough analysis, your aesthetician will consult with you, selecting and recommending the appropriate products for your skin, along with treatment recommendations.

Waxing

Waxing is a semi-permanent hair removal method which removes your hair from its roots. Nearly all the areas of the body can be waxed, including: eyebrows, face, legs, arms, back, abdomen, bikini area and feet. Strip waxing is the most common practice we use, which is done by spreading a wax combination in a thin layer over the skin’s surface. A cloth strip is then applied and smoothed over the wax layer, then quickly removed in the opposite direction of hair growth. Waxing can be a more economical choice when looking for hair removal solutions, though it lacks the reliability and permanency of a process like electrolysis, which leads to permanent hair removal.

Electrolysis

The electrolysis procedure removes individual hairs from your face and/or body, which, after a number of sessions, will lead to permanent hair removal. This result is possible because electrolysis attacks growth centre of the hair, destroying it at its source. The total number of sessions needed for permanent hair removal varies for each individual. To ensure swift success, we recommend you return at least once a week, or every other week as is needed. Treatment sessions vary in length, anywhere from fifteen minutes and an hour, dependent upon the level of care required. Electrolysis is an acceptable treatment for permanent hair removal on most areas of the body, including: eyebrows, face, abdomen, thighs, breasts, and legs. Side effects are often minimal, though sometimes a temporary, slight reddening of the skin may occur.
